Can you consolidate your loan? I had the same thing happen. A loan went in default, and I couldn't enroll in classes until the loan was paid. So, I consolidated everything through the US Department of Education. Talk to your financial aid office about this possibility.
I'm good. I've been busy with work and the holidays, but everything is going great!
By the way, I would definitely consolidate through the US Department of Education if at all possible. Their interest rates are lower, and they wont' scam you. I paid $50 to some company to consolidate my loans once, and nothing ever happened. So, talk to your financial aid office and find out how to go about this. It's been about four years since I had to do it, so I don't remember, but I definitely did this through Direct Loans.
