Whooo yeah. I'm all worn out, but fuck I feel good. I cleaned a bit today, finally got my Playstation set up in my old room (though I had to pilfer components from just about every room in the house to bring it all together) so I played DDR for a little while. I haven't exercised in like a year (which is how long it's been since I played DDR) so I ( Read more... )

Sometimes, if you have enough motivation, behavioral changes can seem like they happen over night. There was one guy I knew of that all of a sudden one day decided that he didn't hate cats, got a cat, and decided to stop messing with his computers and blah, blah, blah...comppletely changed his life all in about a day.

Sometimes I wish I had the motivation to do that.

My room was cleaned a while ago. *Finally* I was able to get to my DVD player that I hadn't touched in about 6 months. DDR is much better than a DVD player, though. Heh. Addictive.

I don't even know what's motivating me now. I just decided to stop drinking sodas.. and then I decided to be much more diligent with my hygeine (I didn't shower every day before.. it wasn't exactly necessary, but I should still shower every day anyway no matter what I've done that day) and then I decided to exercise a bunch and here I am.

And DDR is awesome, but I bet a DVD player would be a lot less killer on my knees! That was one of the reasons I didn't play DDR every day before.

Yeah...DVD doesn't kill your knees like DDR can.

I wish I could get myself motivated to do something about my health. It's not bad...but I'm started to gain weight in a not-so-good kind of way. It's one of those things that scares the crap outta me 'cos a lot of my family members have problems with obesity (as well as drepression and alcohol...some of the reasons contributing to me turning straightedge...).

I hope whatever happened continues. Changing a few little things about yourself can make you feel really good and keep you motivated to do more. ^^

Going back to DDR after being away for a while is depressing - 'I USED to be able to A this tune!'

Best advice I can give - never stop playing :-)
