I'm doing some practice free-response for the AP Calculus BC exam, and I desperately need help! There are four problems behind the cut, and they involve absolute minima/rates, infinite series, motion and relation of graphs and their derivatives.
2)
For Part (A) I got that water is not increasing because water is being removed faster than it is being added. (I plugged in t = 15 for both equations, and saw that more water is being removed than is added)... For Part (B) I got 1093 gallons by plugging in t = 18 for both equations. No clue about (C) and (D) though.
3)
Totally confused here. I've only done series problems in which I was given the actual equation, and not just the formula for the nth derivative at zero. =(
4)
Absolutely no clue.
5)
I proved Part (A) just fine using implict differentiation, but after that I just drew blanks.
Thank you very much!
