[There's what appears to be part of a talon in view, but otherwise Temeraire is out of view.  What is in view is are several cowering cows.]

These cows are mine.  I have purchased all of them with and eventually I will eat them all because they are mine.  All of them are mine and you cannot have any and I will fight you if you try to take them.

Well, no one has tried yet but it is very important that I have very many things and that they stay mine.

You know, I'm almost sure this is all just a curse.

Hmm...I want to have more money on other days as well, so I cannot really tell if it is a curse.

Why do you want cows?

To eat them, of course.

...like that? You don't want to cook them first? Or-or something?

Well, they do taste better if they are cooked a bit first, but if I want to have bigger piles of money I cannot always be hiring a cook. And besides, I do not always want to wait that long when I am very hungry.

I don't think someone would be very smart if they were challenging a dragon.

It is possible that another dragon could have arrived. Or maybe a wizard of some sort would try to face me. Or a somewhat foolish monster. There have been various kinds of monsters about.

I guess that's true... Not that I've seen any.

Honestly, I am not sure I would mind if someone did challenge me. It is not that I wish to fight, precisely, it is just that it is very exciting and one cannot only read and work all the time.

Hmm. Reading. I need more books. I should have as many books as possible.
