Hey, my cousin has a netflix account this year and she lets me recommend things to get so I need a good list of Anime! I have heard of a lot of them that I'm never seen and never remember the names of *pouts and is a bad geek girl*. So if you could give me a list of ones I HAVE to see, it would be awesome!!

Anime, eh? Now that's something I know something about... ;) What have you seen, and what do you like of what you've seen? I can try to make a few suggestions for what might be good (along with just some stuff that I am fangirl-crazy for right now). Hee. :)

Weeeeeelll...

What I've seen that I DIDN'T like all that much was DBZ (not enough happens to keep me interested) and the END of Neon Genesis Evangeleon (because apparently they explain everything in the movies and I've never seen them). I liked the rest of the series, it's just that the end confused me.

What I have seen is Cowboy Bebop (I one it all including the movie), Some of Trigun, and Vampire Hunter D (yay for good, NICE vampires!). Other than that, I've only caught snippits of things and I don't remember what they were (I've liked them all!).

So whatever you can recommend would be shiny! Thanks in advance!

I liked Trigun. That was a fun series. ;)

Two of my favorites right now (though they are not all the way released on DVD yet) are Fullmetal Alchemist and Samurai 7. They're both action-type stories, but they have a story!

Some stuff that I like that's totally released already is: Outlaw Star (action), Pretear (magical girl), Fushigi Yugi (modern girl gets sucked into ancient Chinese book...), and Samurai Deeper Kyo (1600s Japan turned fantasy) (though a lot of people don't seem to really like that last one, I totally <3 it!).

If you liked Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star might be a good fully-released series to start with?
