That arcade sounds fun. I heard that in Japan, there were pinball parlors that were really popular (at least as recently as the late 1980's). Only instead of catering to kids, they were a place where adults would hang out. In fact, pinball champions could win cigarettes for prizes. (Sounds healthy!)

I didn't know they celebrated Day of the Dead in Japan. Or were you planning your own celebration?

yeah, they don:t celebrate it here, but i wanted to do something!! anyway, the arcades are totally popular for adults....they sell alcohol, and cigarettes are available anywhere. i think it:s a requirement of japanese citizens to be smokers.
