I'm almost certain that I will go to the The Cure concert. If anyone has an hundred dollars or so to blow, I'd certainly welcome company. Then again, wouldn't it be so goth to go alone? Get all riled up on red wine, pretending to cut my wrists during Pictures Of You or something?

Madam, I am afraid that when it comes to alcoholic drinks you can by no means claim a sensitive palate. In any case, the drink is designed to clarify a morning head; as such one can consider it closer to a breakfast than a cocktail.

If your hot sauce and cow juice is within closer reach than your trusty can of imported, widgetted Guinness....I say cheers, matey!

It doesn't have to be genuine cow juice; there are quite a lot of vegan bouillons designed to have a flavour similar to the meat broths. In fact, I used one in the soup I prepared for Sonja's birthday.

Also, it was recommended that one prepares it before a night of partying, and leaves it, chilled in a thermos, on their bedtable.

Guinness make a good breakfast also, although personally I think it is better taken at the neighbourhood pub than at home. As breakfast, I mean, along with some good pub food, it's the perfect start to a day.

Hey man, if I end up going, and you're drunk on wine, we're BOTH SCREWED! So NO GETTING DRUNK AND SLITTING YOUR WRISTS AT THE CURE CONCERT.

Unless of course I get my license before then. In which case, can I keep the car when I drive it home without you?

I'm touched that you're so concerned about the fate of my car, really~

:subtley steps in between JapBat and Alexis:

And hey, good luck with that licensing jazz! Driving is a wonderful pasttime, a relaxing hobby, and a terrible thing to have to do for your friends all the time without any ever recieving genuine thanks or any form of reciprocation.

Fortunately, those days are gone... almost.
