Okay, I got it! Imagine marbles, right? Now imagine each round one is a world. Not a country, not a region, a whole world. Now imagine a bag full of them. That's how many worlds there are.

Now imagine there's one tiny one that pulls people from each marble. It's kinda' like that. We're all from different worlds, babe. We were taken here by higher powers and forced to live in this isolated city. There's nothing around the island but water.
