The year before I started talking with Robert my Ex and I had decided to have a baby. Rather I should say I wanted to have a baby, the Ex didn't care either way. I got pregnant and had a miscarriage. WOW. WOW. I didn't know mothers-in-law could be so horrendous - OK I had an idea, but to BLAME YOU for being SICK like that? Christ. My boyfriend's dad is my in-law I love to HATE. He likes to call up and bark orders at me like I'm one of his own. He's an asshole and prides himself as one. Treats his family like shit, and therefore ME. I remind him regularly that I'm not family and won't stand for his shit. He throws tantrums(yes, a grown man) and talks alot of shit.
I don't pick up the phone when I see James' family's #. Thank Heaven for CALLER ID.

Good for you that you let him know that he can't treat you like that! I think that's very important to do with in-laws. It makes me worry that I'll be like that with my kids, but I think it all depends on the parents. My dad has always kept out of my business even when I know he must not approve of something I'm doing.

Two years after I had Anthony I came down with pantertitius (sorry I can't even spell it) and almost died...again.

The doctors said it most likely caused because of the problems I had when I was pregnant. (my kidneys and liver had started to stop working) So then she had the nerve to say "Oh you must have been really sick!"

I think the only way she wouldn't have blamed me is if I had died!!!

She probably would have still blamed you for not taking good care of your own health or something!

That's a great way to look at it. Jamie's parent's have been so awesome. I'm hopeful I will get along better with them then I did with my Ex's parents.
