I've spent all day in my room trying to work on my film, but I haven't gotten very far. Every time I started to get somewhere, the thought of moving again crept into my mind and I was distracted and depressed all over again. I'm so frustrated because I just don't know what to do

hmm. since it's your friend who wants to move, maybe he will foot the movers' bill? =) I think that's fair.

dang boy that sucks. doens't your roommate read your LJ or know of it? what if he reads all this! :P

I think your roommate is a nice guy because he's not being malicious with what he's doing, but he's definitely being pretty selfish. I don't understand why he would have to wake up at 6 am to be at work by 8 am IN THE SAME CITY. Ok so Muni takes 30-45, but does he really need 1.5 hours to get ready? If so, that's his bad. Do you take him out with you frmo time to time? I know you have like a BF and everything now... but I guess maybe you should go out and do things with him in Castro or wherever he wants to go (either way, he still has to take Muni wherever he goes, so he's not really thinking it out, because there really isn't a social nightlife in downtown SF) or let him borrow your car under contract (as in he has to pay for damages - he seems like he has enough money anyway)

Anyway, this all sucks and I hope you find a new stable roommate soon. Good luck
