Barely anyone i've ever talked to has heard of Dogma let alone ,seen it, so i guess i'm a little over happy that there is someone i know, in some sense at least, who knows of it's awesomeness!
I completely agree with you on the angel rants in spn mirroring Bartelby's, i like to think the spn writer's watched it and took notes. :P

I swear, when I was first watching the scene between Uriel and Castiel, I paused it and yelled, "Hey! That's Bartleby's line!" and then proceeded to flail helplessly. And YAY DOGMA! That movie is so amazing on so many levels (yes, i do think ti's got to do with the lapsed Catholic thing - I'm one too). I'm so glad someone not only has seen it, but they love it too! XD That movie does not get all the love it should.

Oh, it's totally the lapsed Catholic thing. I think one of my favorite lines in the movie was Serendipity's comment about Catholics: "I have issues with anyone who treats faith as a burden instead of a blessing. You people don't celebrate your faith; you mourn it." It's so damn true. *sigh*

Are those two fallen angels the main characters of it?

Bartleby and Loki are two of the main characters, but it's really an ensemble cast. The two of them are trying to go home, and the Metatron (the angel in my icon) sends a woman and the 13th apostle to stop them. It's sooo good! :)
