Well, in two weeks I will no longer be a Sr Research Scientist. The place that "never has layoffs, OK once in 50 years" has just laid off half a division, including me.

Fuck you, universe.

What is in store for me next? Back to law? Back to contracting?

Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket today.
