Alright...so I know this will likely bring about a slew of discussion...Admittedly this is something good that the movie was successful at doing (fostering discussion I mean), and I'm always down for some critical debate...but I've had a night to sleep on it...and now it's time to go into why I disliked the film "Pan's Labyrinth"...

You bring up a great point about the look and feel of the last fairyland scene being so different from Pan's fairyland interactions before this point. So different that they seem unreal, that it doesn't fit: disjunct. I think that's why I began questioning a budget problem for the ending (which was not the case

Hmmm I like the idea about the girl walking down the stairs. Keeps everything in the same world of half magic half real. Also some other concrete effect other than the flower would be nice...like the well in the center collapsing or something
