Uhmmm.. umm... I seriously have no idea. History is so not my best subject. Though... within that time period, Spain had basically taken over the Philippine Islands. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philippines << check it out if you wanna :]

Here's a few things I thought of if you'd think any of them would do you any good-

*Britain's occupation of Africa (already beat me to India)

*China's occupation of Tibet (not sure if this is considered colonization)

*Spain's presence in Mexico and South America.

*Portugal's colonization of Brazil (not sure if the dates are in the parameter you're looking for)
