SO, I finally hung out w/ my long lost friend from elementary school. The legend of Michelle Iullianella. The golden child. It was such a surreal experience. I find that most of my friends are experiencing the usual "twenty-something" angst...and then there's Michelle. While not a deeply philosophical book, there are definitely some parts that make you cock your head and mayhaps go 'Hmm'. Mild example like:

"This planet has--or rather had--a problem, which was this: most of the people living on it were unhappy for pretty much of the time. Many solutions were suggested for this problem, but most of these were largely concerned with the movements of small green pieces of paper, which is odd because on the whole it wasn't the small green pieces of paper that were unhappy."

But really, it's just a 'lazy sunday night' read (or in my case, a 'daily skytrain ride' read.....)
