First Day of the Rest of my Life....hmmm...probably not!??

So, I had my first day of work today. It was a very humbling experience. I realize that I'm a bit of a slow learner. I like to take my time if I truly want to let something soak into my head. I was really stressing myself out because of my lack of speed in doing some of the projects that were given to me. I have to learn to mellow out a bit.

...If every day was 'beautiful', then every day would just be average. And you can't deny how good it feels after a huge downpour. The fresh rain feeling... everything seems cleansed. However, I definitely like the way it feels on these exceptionally bright sunny days... Makes me think of Crescent Beach (used to go there a LOT with my grandma-ma!).

So! You're really doing fine at your new job - your boss sounds extremely patient and willing to give you enough time to get into... the swing of things (aka 'your groove'). I remember being so nervous the first couple weeks at the Hyatt, having NO experience in that field whatsoever. And I was working with a complete moron for a couple weeks who ended up getting fired :).

Anyways, happy happy joy joy Jacqui... You classy career woman you.
