I keep switching back from Kits is tame to Kits is the most beautiful part of the city! Ultimately, Kits rates very high in natural beauty and ammenities (beaches, beautiful views, fit young people, nice houses, great health food stores, etc). But rates very low in culture (the art and entertainment scene is a bit lacking). But as I write that, I realize, I rarely go to many cultural events anymore. Also, Kits is very known for the gym bunnies and girls in tight lululemon pants (http://www.lululemon.com/cec/products.php?line=1&cat=4).

It's just a huge culture shock from Commercial Drive. It will be pretty great though! Rent is also really comparable! Rent has really increased in Vancouver in the last two years. What is the rent like in London? We are paying $1450 for a 2 bedroom apartment, which seems expensive to me. Is that on par with London or does that seem really cheap!?!?

It's probably about equal to the cost of crack! Cake is used loosely, it was more like a fusion of a brownie and a chocolate bar...then paired w/ ice cream! I think if you had it often and poured Pinot Gras on it....you're taste buds would explode. I'd be willing to test that theory though!
