Last night my cousin Melinda who lives in Corpus Cristi, TX died in her sleep and is now with the Lord in Heaven. We got the call at a quarter to 1 this morning with the news. She was in the hospital recooperating from surgey for a hysterectomy. She was 40 years old. She leaves behind her husband of about 2-3 years and her 2 month old daughter

*hugs you close and sighs* Im so sorry...40 is such a young age and a 2 month old daughter too! That is a tragedy.

It's unimaginable. She was going against the odds to have this baby. It's just unfortunate that undergoing the surgery for the hysterectomy and recovering would have resulted in this.

It's been a rather terrible day for news. What with the passing of Furp and Latin Vixens's grandfather taken ill and possibly taking a dire turn.

Unexpected and very sad considering the circumstances. I haven't even met her husband nor seen her baby since it's been near 5 years when I last visited the family in Texas. My thoughts are with them.
