Third Eye Blind depresses me

I really like Third Eye Blind a lot...well, I actually only like their first album...but whatever. Anyway, I thought about that CD today and decided to load it as mp3s onto my computer. Now, for some reason, though I love the songs, I noticed an extreme decline in my mood as I was listening to the album. Of course, I didn't establish the connection ( Read more... )

I haven't done pics on LJ yet, so hopefully someone else can help you with that. I have heard that a lot of LJers use PhotoBucket (or some website like that), although I don't know how to write the actual hyperlinks within an entry ( ... )

I don't know about you, but sometimes if I get bored with a guy, it's not because I like the "chase," but rather because I lose the first-date "butterflies." You know what I mean? I love that feeling of the first awkward hand-hold or kiss or phone call or whatever. After that, it's yesterday's news...

I definitely can relate to alot of what you said. Most of time I feel like I'm destined to spend my life alone because I am picky about the type of guy I want to day. The past couple of bfs I have had ended because I thought the chase element was gone. I grew very tired of being able to second guess someone's every move, or have them exhibit no desire to keep me interested in them. Because of this I went through two bfs during my short time at Stanford. I have this trait of needing to be stimulated whether emotionally or mentally at all times, and I know this is hard to ask of someone, but if they are trying them I usually tend to cut them slack ( ... )

third eye blind's first album is simply the best. no one can attest to that. i think that since you were going through depression when you were listening to that cd before, it brought about a audio-emotional connection. so, when you heard about it, it brought back the emotions that you felt during that time. it may have to do with conditioning...some psychological mumbo jumbo...just like word association. that's just my take of it. however, if you read the words to some of their songs, they are depressive...dealing with suicide and stuff like that. let me know if i have made any sense, helped, or just brought up more questions or conerns ( ... )
