I hope your procedure was, indeed, minimal. Minimally invasive but the impacts to you maximally effective, helpful, healing, stabilizing, supportive and everything you needed.

I think doctors use those words to emphasize safety and provide comfort to anxious recipients, but they also use them to convey real expectations of outcomes. You're not wrong to feel a bit.. like a product. But you're also a product of care and empathy and resilience.
