so, it is looking likely that Evan and i will be moving back to Austin this spring. i am real done with NYC living, even though i love it it is just insane with the baby and i want to be closer to my peeps

i need impressions of the hospitals-- is there a clear winner of Seton v. St. David's? etc.

but i think i will continue in critical care for a bit, you know before i decide i have to go to grad school...

i am just glad to have a road forward. the future being hazy was making me very stressed, and while there is a lot of heart wrenching parts about moving, especially since it means breaking up our current, happy living situation, i think it is best to get someplace stable and easier to live and where i can see myself staying for Evan's school years. i really, really hope Frank comes to Austin because he is an amazing father and i can hardly stand to think about he and the baby being separated. but i have to let him make that choice on his own and he does understand that Austin is the best possible move for the baby and me.

thank you for your unwavering support. i know some of what i have done has likely appeared totally nuts from the outside, but i just did the best i could, and i believe that things have worked out pretty well so far (though unconvential, i know).

you guys are the best! i can't wait to introduce you to the boy.
