Storylines - OOC
If there's a Rift leading INTO this world from all sorts of worlds. It only makes sense that eventually there will be little breaks leading out, again. Luckily these breaks are much easier to see than just walking and bam falling in, they're medium sized (there are smaller ones but it's hard to fall into) and green, but they all lead to one world and it could be years (in that world) before you find a break that leads you back, and only a few hours will have passed.
Calisto did not know this, but she thought Luke would make for a good experiment as to what happens when you throw someone into a green Rifty thing.
((OOC: There is only ONE place that these other breaks lead and that's to two hundred years in a possible future for this Chicago. No humans are left in this future. Countries have different names. The world operates entirely differently so if you want your character to fall into this... they're always in the future for longer than they're gone in the Rift world))
But Just Don't Decieve Me - Luke looks up to these people. They're heroes in his eyes, capable and strong and he wishes he could be just like them, but knows that's not really... his thing so he sticks to his hero-worship. Feelings I can't fight - Luke is attracted to them, a lot, whether or not he should be, he is. These people he considers family, not blood family, but... Luke will sleep with the people he cares about. It's just instinct, addiction.
Please, believe me when I say, I love you... - Luke doesn't understand the meaning of falling in love. He has never felt it before, except a child's love for his parents. Never experienced much emotional love or connection with another being at all since he was a child. These characters help him to experience it for the first time, completely and overwhelmingly. You don't have to turn on the red light - Is your character in need of sex? Or would you like them to have sex at some point? They can have sex with Luke if you would like them to. It's not hard to arrange. Really.
