so, i love it here. i think that it would rock my socks if i could move here when i graduate. i'm like all set to waltz down to the deputy editor of TIME and say "sir, if and when you have an opening, please consider me!" do you think i should? i would appreciate comments on this topic ( Read more... )

hey so it sounds like you are having a fun time! anyways when are you back in the states? and when you do come back are you stopping through boston at all? and do you want to borrow some of my stuff over the summer (my computer speakers cuz i don't think you have any and my paintings in case you want some decorations...) hehe i'm so jeal you're in the UK!

awesome cuz i'll still be in boston too! call me when you are around... i don't leave for the retreat til the morning of hte 20th and then get back the evening of 22nd... hehe can't wait to see ya! ENJOY the rest of your time!

Mer - Go for it, ask for a job! The worst he can say is 'no', and I'll bet he's more likely to be impressed that you love TIME than annoyed at you. Remember, he wants excited, happy employees as much as you want a job! And, from my perspective (graduation = the long dark no-op of the soul), it's never too early to start looking for a job! Have a dozen different options open when you graduate; you'll be happier than I am.

heehee... thanks, salami. i actually did end up walking in there and chatting with him about it. it was more like "so, dude, if there's ever an opening that looks like it'd fit me, lemme know." heehee... thanks for the tips. =)
