A few days ago I ordered the complete DVD set of the show "Six Feet Under." Came on HBO from 2001 through 2005. Still in Season 1, but I never really watched Season 1 before. I started watching from Season 2 on forward, although I did manage to catch all of Season 1 at one point but the Pilot Episode. So I'm catching up on everything now ( Read more... )

Six Feet Under was such a good series--I was really surprised by it. For an extra treat, be sure to catch Frances Conroy (Ruth) in Die, Mommie, Die!--and of course Michael Hall went on to the equally excellent Dexter.

I tried watching Dexter once or twice, and while I LOVE Michael Hall, I never really got into it very much. My friends rant and rave about the show, and I know it's good. Just not something I find myself watching all that much. Plus, I think it came on a channel I don't normally get, or well, at the time got.

I just LOVE Six Feet Under. It's such a morbid show -- according to my friends -- but I love everything about it. I was so sad when I found out the 5th season would be the last. I've kinda taken a break from watching at the moment, but I'm gonna pick it back up once I finish the move to CA.
