Now that I've got my very own big-ass Webster's Collegiate, I do, every so often, end up looking up a word and then reading the whole page. It can be really interesting.

I still think pretentious fanfic is better for your vocabulary, though. :)

Of course it is! It has improved my vocab by lightyears ;-)
I have to use a dicitonary every now and then anyway since I am not a native speaker.

I used to have this unhealthy thing for the Funk 'n Wagnalls at my school library. But maybe that's because they had so much funk, you know.
