Today I am thankful for the men and women who put their lives at risk to protect our country in the past, present, and future. Freyja, please protect my brother, who is in the Middle East again, for the umpteenth time. WE GOT IT!!! We got the condo we applied for! We sign the lease on the 10th, then pay them the deposits and get the keys on the 13th, when we get paid! With deposits and moving and stuff we'll still be broke the rest of this year, but paying $500 less a month, we'll be doing much better next year! -

Applied for a nice, 3-bdrm condo today, waiting to hear back on if we got it, trying not to get my hopes up, and not succeeding too well. ;) -

My daughter is so cute. She put the kitchen towel around her shoulders today and exclaimed, "I Super Sister!" And my hubby rocks, he brought how two more salmon today! One of which we're grilling up for dinner! Kyle looks pooped out from his field trip at school today to the pumpkin farm. And I'm off to make German potato salad now. :) -
