We're just curious! it's time to think!:
Do you think calisthenics is a sport?: Definitely
What do you say to someone who looks at dancing as easy [the “I could do that” attitude] ? I show them a video and ask them to repeat it! No, normally I just tell them just how much we train, and some of the skills we actually need - often people don’t actually know what’s involved…
What do you tell yourself to get over that “I can’t do this” hump? I look at how effortless other people make it, and convince myself that I am equally as skilled, to make the task seem less daunting…
Why do you dance?: Because it keeps me sane
What is your favourite part of calisthenics?: Performing! My favourite items are clubs and rods (just for the record)
What is your least favourite part of calisthenics?: The emphasis on flexibility, and detailing… it feels good when you get it right, but it can be soooo frustrating getting there!
Brag a little. What are some of your strongest points?: Definitely my clubs swinging… something that just clicked with me from the start!
How did you start calisthenics?: My mum used to do it, and a friend from kindy knew about a then successful club, and I tagged along one day
How did you hear about Calisthenics_? I don’t actually remember hearing about it - I was about 4! But it would have been through my mum
