Noel offers to look after the boys. He and Dee take them to the park and have a picnic. They eat jam sandwiches and Haribo’s Fantasy Mix. They push the boys on the swings and spin them on the roundabout until they’re nearly sick. Children again, for an afternoon.

This is the part that got me.

This was so sad and haunting and beautiful. Really tugs on the heart strings.

I have to say that I don't like to read such sad RPS, but this was beautifully done.

I remember when I depressingly came up with the basic plot while on a lonely walk... made myself cry.
And knightaimee called me evil for thinking it.
Nevertheless, she joined me in the writing and helped to make it tasteful.
