I QUIT!
I quit my job on Friday because I realized that I wasn't making enough money to cover my bills and it wasn't a good enough job to dig into my savings for. A lot of things at work have also been stressing me out lately and I think Derek was getting pretty tired of hearing me complain. They're so wrong! I absolutely love being home. The first two weeks were fantastic. I saw people I haven't seen in years, Karen's wedding was super fun, I got to sit around my house reading and watching TV, and went to the beach (it's not the same in Vancouver because there are no waves). It's about time for an update
Life is so busy. Work and Derek are taking up a lot of time. So is being sick. I've had 3 or 4 colds in the last two months (I can't even remember) and a couple of other random bugs. Observation would suggest that Derek makes me sick since it all started when he asked me out, but I like him so much I don't even care. I just have fun telling people ( Read more... ) -

Working Girl
First day today. V. tired now because I didn't fall asleep until 1 and got up at 7:30. It was only 2.5 hours today of info, going over the contract and rules, and a little bit of training.
