For the people that watch Misfits, I am only on the second episode of season one, but I really don't know if I want to continue because I am so bothered by the superpower they gave Alisha.

I mean, seriously? I don't want to spend 3 seasons watching her almost getting raped in every other scene. I want to punch the writers so hard in the face.

Her arc gets away from that stuff eventually, esp. by season 2. The squickiest stuff imo all happened early on. It's up to you with your tolerance level though - I found the quality of her development and the show in general to make it worth watching.
