Some people are just straight up (yeah i said it) "users" (meaning they use you for something or someone). Like who can you call a true friend? Who did you call a true friend but ditched for someone...or maybe something else...who isn't worth calling a true friend? Yeah i'm annoyed right now....why...i have no idea ( Read more... )

i know what you mean. But you have to think about that. It is realy hard. The people we don't want to be friends to, we're taught to ignore them and not create problems. When someone affends us, we're supposed to get all pissed off and then not be friends. As christians, we're supposed to love everyone, and forgive everyone. I'm not sure exactly where i wanted to go with that, but we're surrounded by sin and people who ditch us. Sadly i think it rubs into us. I know at hockey the last two nights. When i tell Jesus, i'm going to watch my language all the time, i fail. I started to curse without even thinking. It was wierd, but when i noticed, i just started to say shoot or dam lol. Not a huge improvement, but i geuss its hard to be a loyal friend or servent of God when there is so much wrong around you. Maybe we're not strong enough to continually turn on our friends and God. Did any of that make sence at all? or am i just blabing nonsence? lol..

Do you know what, we are human and make mistakes. But if we truly wanted too, we could be strong enough. We are sinners and will fall into temptation. But sometimes i think we use that as a cop-out answer for our mistakes and sins. Jesus said we should strive for perfection. Ya know.

You're right...true friends are often taken for granted. It's in the tough seasons that you wish that you had not sold them out for a temporary fix, whatever that may be. I wish I could say that I have always been perfect in this area, however it is not so. I'm starting to learn though...maybe? Hopefully?

yeah that is true, But you can still try and be a true/good friend to them even though they're not to you. Jesus does it for us on a continual bases, yet are we always true to him. No, not all the time, we forsake him... at least i know i do, honestly speaking. I don't think we should just sit around and wait for ppl to be true to us, because they might be doing the same thing and then it will never happen. We need to try and live like jesus.

Sorry if i'm not making sense, i'm quite tired.
