I had a semi-panic attack at the dentists office today. the numbing shots he was gicing me werent working so i had double the normal amount. when he left to let me stew i started freaking out/crying/shaking/wanting to jump out the window ( Read more... )

omg everytime i've had to had work done, i had to ask for more, which would always freak me out-- WHEN WILL IT EVER NUMB HOW LONG ?!?! WILL IT EVEN NUMB AT ALL?!?!?! HUH DR. CHING CHONG?!?!?!

I had three fillings this fall. It was my first time getting local anesthetic. It was a terrible experience. I felt like I couldn't breath, and Dr. Bruinooge told me that sometimes a shot of lidocane gets into a blood vessel that travels through your lungs and it makes them feel slow. He really is a good dentist though...

i had that root canal done this summer and i feel your pain, woman. i think i got three shots through the roof of my mouth plus the regular gum shots. that was pain like i've never felt.

i actually found my dentist looking for "total sedation dentistry" on the internet. but i decided to try to be brave and stay awake. they are nice! but i still hate.
