if they die, wouldn't that deny them the ability of being your soul mate. A soul mate doesn't die before you meet them, that's an unencountered possibility, not a soul mate.

We never will know wheather if they die if thier ability is there or not. I guess it just depends on individual views on how a soul mate is or originates. it was just a thought. I know I won't find them for a while. Waiting was the initial plan.
