It appears my gun is missing.

Granted, I had no real need for it at the moment. However, one's personal effects should remain on their person.

I hope my associates haven't been affected as well.

A gun, or firearm, is a weapon which mechanically fires off projectiles utilizing a propulsion system of either gunpowder or air.

Not everyone has them, I think. I've seen many people around with swords as well.
