What has it done this time?

Nothing more than being itself.

My 24 hour stint re-living my teenage years was certainly unexpected. Thankfully they weren't as awkward the second time around...

It happened to you too?

I gained around four years. It was interesting, to say the least.

It wouldn't make sense to think that I could be immune to it.

Let's just kill him.

I want to agree, but I suppose I should check on that with Near. After all, the living co-exist with the dead here, and his death may not stop him from killing others with the Death Note in the city.

If he has it.

Let's play "Keep Away" with the Death Note first.

Business as always.

You might want to check if that little black book is in his hands first before making a move. I'd hate for you to end up like Matt and I.

So do I. Which is why I don't know if just killing him here would work. If he has the Death Note in his possession....

Oh, it does that. And more.

I'd have to agree.

I'm Hal Lidner, incidentally. You are?

Hal Lidner. Where have I hear--

You're the woman Amy mentioned, aren't you?

I don't believe I've met anyone called 'Amy' here...

O.O Yes, it is.

Killing Light Yagami would be a bit messy and premature. If dying simply caused him to remain here permanently, i twould do no immediate good to kill him. And this Light Yagami must be from a different timeline than ours if he is yet alive.

We should attempt to determine if he has a Death Note and find a way to take it from him.

I agree with you.

And I believe I can confirm your theory about his being from a different time period. On our initial meeting, he informed me that he was still in college.

From those whom he's met here, none can confirm his posession of the Death Note in this world.

Do you have any plans for obtaining it if he has it?

That is interesting. I wonder what effect that Kira has on our Kira, who is now deceased.

I would not expect him to be so careless as to allow the Death Note to be seen. If he does have it, I will fabricate a false Death Note and switch the two. In this place, it is not proof which we seek, but a destrucion of his weapon of mass murder.

I don't know. I gave him the impresson we are from different worlds, but I do feel his conversations with myself may hve aroused his suspicion and thus hastened his urges to return home.

I apologize. I should have avoided him.

Understood. I await your orders.
