What is it that we find so captivating about the concept of a man shedding his humanity and becoming a beast? One needs not change form to shed one's humanity and become a beast. Perhaps that is the curse's appeal - form to accompany character.

That's certainly true. Though I'm sure a good number of people who aren't generally beastly still found themselves with excess appendages.

Did the forms suit the characters of their wearers, from what you saw?

I found myself now with additional legs, but with feathers and a beak. Though, I would not call myself beastly in any sense.

I cannot say - My citizenship is still young; I know but a few people in this world, and of those few people, I do not feel as if I know them well enough to judge their character against the beasts they became.
