I am madly, truly head over heels for that creepy trout fisherman cuckoo clock from 1x17. I WANT ONE, WHERE DO I GET ONE.

I love how I am still here and still just as, maybe even more, invested as I was 6 years ago (I only joined fandom during S4).

Same here!! I joined during the S4/5 Hellatus, and over the first part of S5 (while catching up with everything before S4) I was so deeply in love with SPN it hurt. Somehow, though, that love has exceeded even those limits over the years. I feel so much more invested, and so much more active right now than ever before!

I love reading really thoughtful fic that lets me think through canon or aspects of canon in ways other than my own. The kind that moves you to just hold scenes in your head and let them percolate with the episodes or characters they relate to, different scenes you've written, other pieces of canon, or maybe even someone else's reaction post or meta. Maybe it's the writing style, or their interpretation of a character, or an AU or divergent timeline element they've included in their fic, but whatever it is it's so wholly different than anything that would have come from you, yet feels so organic and right that you can't imagine it ever not existing. One of my greatest pleasures is having SPN and its many nodes of engagement, so to speak, explode on me as I venture forth into the vast world of creative works we've made--and continue to make, in each discussion thread, each comment, each rec post. I just think that's the coolest thing. <3

Try to explain "reasons" to a non-fandomer and you'd be there for years. But "FOR REASONS" her? Ohhhh, we're just gettin' started! XDD

Aw hell yeah! I love that we have pretty much anything anyone could want. We have soft, understated vignettes. We have J2 snail porn. We have devil's trap quilts. We have restored '67 Impalas. We have unicorn AUs, an entire feederism comm, detailed posts about sigils and other magical things, fics about cupcakes, fics about blood-infested idek, and crossovers from Silent Hill to My Little Pony.

THIS IS AN ACTUAL SHOW, THAT WAS THE ACTUAL SCRIPT. THIS IS AN ACTUAL FANDOM, THESE ARE OUR ACTUAL FANWORKS. XD
