*flails* I was so excited to see that you picked Somewhere Out There! It's the story I like best on any given day (shh, don't tell the other stories!), and I adore what you did with it ;)

I especially love how you expanded on Somewhere's SF setting, without having to engage in boring exposition. The white plantations of Vega II, the Fiji 2 water, the aerial xenocuisine restaurants, "So this is the famous L.A.? I think I like it. Maybe we should buy a vacation home or something." I squeed when the terminology and details in Somewhere showed up: in-person, buying datastreams, David's music-student course, the natural coffee served at the shop David worked in. You made cute things with the band, and the huge concert experience, which (you may know?) I love to write and even more to read about ( ... )
