According to my userinfo page I last updated on June 10, 2014. I did not update that day. I haven't updated since, I think, October 2013. No entry shows up on June 10, 2014, or at all past Oct 2013 (except for this one, obviously). What the hell, I'm so confused.

Mine is right "8 September 2012" :P. The only thing I can think of is you were hacked and they posted but LJ picked up on it and it was deleted? I don't remember seeing anything weird come up on my friend's list though.

I changed my password, so hopefully that'll resolve whatever was going on. And hello!*waves*

Hai *waves*. I'm always a little surprised when I see someone post on LJ from back in the day. I've only got probably 2-3 people who update now and they're people I added towards the end (and don't know really well).

I know, right?! I still read my friends list pretty regularly (although people don't post much anymore, I guess everyone has migrated over to tumblr/facebook/twitter -- all three of which I am not a fan :/), but every time I try to post, I get blocked. Too much to say, I guess, that I don't even know how to begin lol.

Do you remember editing an entry on that day? Awhile ago I was editing my 2014 media post and noticed that the "date updated" field changed to reflect whenever you do anything to an entry, not just when you post a new one. Not sure why they did this but it definitely makes LJ look more active than it actually is!

Hmmm, that might be it. I don't remember whether I was editing an entry on that day...I don't think so, because I hardly ever edit entries once I've posted them. I may have been messing about on my LJ looking at old entries and maybe I accidentally clicked something IDK. I changed my password, so that gives me more peace of mind.
