As promised, pictures of the fishes in their tanks. I do keep a divider up between them so they can't see each other most of the time, but I removed it for the purposes of picture taking. The lighter of the two is more "Oooh, what's going on? ATTENTION! ATTENTION! PAY ME ATTENTION!" so it's much easier to get pictures of her while the darker one is

Thanky! The lighter one's is the one we'd gotten first and we were going to do them identical, but when we went back to get the second, they didn't have that fake plant OR the red marbles, so we decided to go for something completely different for the other. *L* I quite like both of them, though I think the one on the right would look better with a, erm, more colourful fish? Like maybe one that's bright red or something. But still, I quite like the two we've got and I've been told I can't get a third untilI can prove I won't kill these two, so... *L*

Good job with the tanks. :) Also, your girls look very happy: no stress bars or anything. Rose might be the teeniest bit overfed, though. Hard to tell, but keep an eye on her stomach. She might just need less food than Martha.

It's kinda hard to see in the pictures but the darker one actually has a bit more of a pudge in the tummy area. They were like that when I got them, though, and I have been watching them both carefully. I'm leery of cutting back even more 'cos the food instructions say four pellets twice a day and we've only been doing that once a day... I dunno. I'll take a closer look at them when I get home.
