I just watched Chimera again the other day and got to wondering how Jenny would react. Love this.

I always felt there should have been a scene where we see Jenny react to the team's supposed death! I was thinking about writing it, but no one could do it better than Alinore's "Chimera." So I decided to take a look at what the aftermath might be. I'm very glad you like it! :)

Ooo, I love this. I can absolutely see Jenny reacting that way - you put it well when you described her defense mechanism as "attack". But of course, Gibbs is always one step ahead, since he knows her so well. Nicely done. :)

That's great to hear! I always thought Jenny used anger as a defense to hide other emotions she perceives as weaknesses, and knowing her as well as he does, Gibbs knows exactly how to handle that.

Ooo, that's a good way to put it, as a defense to hide other emotions. I think in her own way she's just as emotionally repressed as Gibbs.

Excellent! I'm not a huge Gibbs/Jenny fan, but I've always been curious about what happened after this episode. I could definitely see this happening. And now I really want to know what she did to the commander. :)

I've always felt that ep called for a tag and well, this is my take. It's fantastic to hear that my fic works even if you're not a Jibbs shipper; thank you! :D
I think everyone's better off now knowing what Jenny did to Skinner, though. ;)

Oops ... commented on the wrong thing that will teach me to multitab.

I liked this fic very much. The writers really missed an opportunity to show Jenny in the episode but you nailed her vulnerability and strength all at once. Well done.

Don't worry, it happens to all of us. :)

I really wish we could have scene Jenny's reaction to the explosion, but on the other hand it might have messed up the pace of the episode. So I'm happy to confine it to fics and episode tags. It's great to hear you liked my take on that, thank you! :D
