Becky called this morning and told us that she would be back to work on Tuesday. I am so relieved! I am feeling a bit selfish for being glad that she doesn't need any more time off. But I am very happy.

As of yesterday, Carter is officially rolling back to front. He started over the weekend, but he mastered it on Tuesday and went pro yesterday. It's so amazing how he learns things. I can finally visualize mobility in the near future. Along with the rolling, he's gotten much more adept at scooting. I really need to start Project Babyproofing.

My grandma got into a car accident on her way home from my parents' house this afternoon. Interestingly, my parents were on their way over here to see Carter (we live a block from grandma) and they witnessed the accident. She was hit by a red light runner as she was making a left turn. It rained for the first time in months--a whole five mins. We stood out in the backyard to enjoy it. :)

Called the insurance to bug them. They said that they had not received our appeal yet (I think she was just not competent enough with the computer system). However, we had received approval to see the craniomaxillofacial specialist (for my notes: 6255411 ( Read more... )

Last night I got to spend a half-hour lying on the sofa with my head resting on a pillow in my husband's lap. We actually got to talk about little things and this and that. It was heavenly. We have a date for Saturday where I finally get to go see a movie in a movie theatre. I hope we're not too tired to enjoy it ( Read more... )

Carter seems to be doing better today. I called the ped yesterday afternoon after I went home to witness some of his problems. He skin was clammy and he was acting subdued. When I tried to offer a bottle, he took a few sucks and started screaming and arching his back. He was a miserable little boy. The nurse said to use a glycerin suppository ( Read more... )
