I ticked off three of them.
Turning to Sloan was a baaaaaaaaad idea, they need to TALK goddamnit, and why did they fade to black so quickly!?
The second one is the most important I think, a long and honest talk is way overdue between those two.
I'm pretty much not thinking about it much more than that, I'm waiting to form more of an opinion until I've seen next week's episode.
I do hope everything will turn out allright, and that Callie won't string along Mark for much longer.

I thought for sure that after their dinner date last week they would be able to talk things through. Take it slow, but not too slow, and both be happy and excited.

I had a feeling Sloan would be giving Callie sex advice. I just didn't think it would be a personal demonstration. Still, it's not entire OOC, I think.

You think she's stringing Sloan along?

Well, she is obviously using him. I don't think he entirely minds, but still.

Seriously, Callie's gone too far, and Erica will be very hurt. I hate the way their relationship is developing. I want to see more chemistry and less freaking out about the "motherland".

The way Callie's acting seems completely out of character, IMO. Why is it such a stretch for her to identify all the things she likes sexually and adapt them to explore with Erica? Why does she need to go to Sloan for advice when we know that he's already showed her the Sloan method last season? (And why does a man know more than a woman about how to please a woman?!?) Then, going to Erica after Mark shows her his method? Um, gross and physically/emotionally disgusting!

I want to know more about Erica - more insight into how she feels and why she seems so much more comfortable about their relationship than Callie does. I mean, could be interesting to know why her gay panic is not quite so panicked. :) The focus on Callie is pissing me off.

I so agree with what you've said. I want some emotions besides the freaking out kind. I want to go back to the easy humor and closeness these two had last season before Addison came back, when Callie couldn't keep from touching Erica. All this Mark stuff is so contrived. But I still have some hope and am waiting to see how the next couple of episodes play out before I totally loose interest.

I completely agree with every word you said. Every single word.
I agree it's high time we got to see things from Erica's side a bit.

It seems to me they had that meeting with the GLAAD women and wanted to recreate the exact stories they were told, for example the one about going to a male friend for reassurance, but they didn't take into account Callie's previously established personality. I think it would've worked better if Erica had been the one freaking out the most, and not in such dramatic proportions.

Now that's an interesting concept - Erica being the one in the panic. Miss in control being out of control? I think would be great to see on screen, but sigh. Who knows what we're in for on this wild ride. Ultimately, I'm afraid of her getting hurt.

Seriously, is this the Grey's version of going to a male friend for reassurance? Is that what came out in the GLAAD meetings? (I honestly don't know.) It's just not right for Callie to go this route with Mark. She's kinda using two people in this situation. It's just so wrong!

Yah, Callie is the total freak out girl. It's just sad that her freak out over the "motherland" is robbing her of enjoying any interactions with Erica.

I wanted a slow build up to the point where Callie could just lose herself and not freak out anymore. Instead we get a major buzz kill. I spent half the episode in a kind of mourning that as soon as it started it was over.

It doesn't bother me that she went to Mark, as I expected she would. It just surprised me that he would insist on a "hands on" demonstration. And I think it was meant as comic relief, but instead the fandom is angry on Erica's behalf.

I know! It can't end before it's really begun. What a buzz kill and loss of potential.

iii have to say i loved the episode... for all it's misgivings. it was funny (callie's "thank you" to sloan was hilarious), and cute (erica's face and "excuse me?" at the end), and i can't wait til next week... i don't like that callie's so hot and cold all the time but overall, the writers could've done far worse so i'm not complaining :)

Heee. Yeah, I'd say Erica's reaction was priceless.
