Sunday was...eventful. Marlene and I made up, which is a huge relief, although I've hardly seen her at all since...what was it, thursday? I finished my potions essay a day early, and my herbology project is coming along nicely. It's finally getting cold, and there is less than a month until the Christmas holidays

I am so sorry you caught a cold, Lil. But, getting caught in the rain can do that.

I am also very glad that you are not plotting my Quidditch Captain's demise anymore. It would be awful hard to slam Slytherin into the ground without him.

I know you haven't seen much of me lately. I have been spending time with Alex. I have been trying to figure out how to tell you this, but Alex and I are dating. I know this seems awfully sudden and perhaps foolish, but he's been absolutely amazing since Sirius dumped me and I don't know what I would be like if he hadn't been here. I...know or at least I think you may think me foolish and think that I am rushing into this too soon, but...he's wonderful, Lil. I think for the first time in weeks, I am actually....happy.
