Oh, man. I know how devastated you must feel. I've had my dog for almost 14 years and am getting increasingly anxious each year. [hug] Hope you'll feel better soon. :\

God. I know what you mean. I would be in utter grief and devastation (understatement) if my dog died. Mine's turning 10 as well, and I'm gonna be freaking on his birthday, let alone the day he goes. I cry sometimes just thinking about it, and I also cried just reading your post.

The thing that hurts most is that it wasn't because of her health or anything.

Oh Dat *hug*. I myself have never had a pet before, but I understand what it's like to get attached and have what you love pulled away from you.
