Today is a anniversary of sorts, but not a happy one, the date of my brother's death. It's hard to believe that he has been gone for over six years now. this was just beautiful, such a wonderful way of preserving the memory of someone who not only meant so much to you but to so many others as well. i have yet to lose anyone in my life but i certainly hope i can remember them as you have and see the good from the bad.

This is probably the most beautiful entry I've ever read.

It must have been horrible for you to lose him, I know how I feel about my brother (he's also older than me - 11 years) and I'd be devastated.
Cancer is such a horrible thing. I've seen so much of it since I'm working in the hospice and sometimes it just goes so fast...

You have some wonderful memories of your brother that you should always keep in your heart. *hugs*
