I think alot of is suspected this about her anyway. Becausr people asked her this whe she was on greys. She did deny it which i think is a factor in why she pulled away from jcap amd didnt really do pics together anymore amd also why i think she may have pushed for calzona to be seperated.

However im glad she eventually found the courage to come out. I knew somerhing was brewing with this new look

Just curious as to why you think her being bi had her pulling away from JCap. I don't see JCap as the time of person who would really care.

It's not a shock to me, especially considering the last few months but I'm glad for her that she took this step. I wish her the best and if part of her reasons for leaving Grey's was to focus fully on her activism I have to respect that. However, given how important Callie was to Sara and the LGBTQ community, I hope that she realizes how senseless it was to end her story this way and comes back someday to finish properly.

It would be nice if she came back to wrap up Callie's story, but the writers have consistently done her character such a disservice over seasons 11/12, I wouldn't blame her if she didn't. Lol. I don't see the appeal from her perspective.

I don't know...Sara stayed after season 7, which painted Callie in a much worse light and she didn't seem to mind then.

That's fulfilling contractual obligations. She's left now and I don't see why she would want to come back, as much as I'd love it.

I feel like this might be one of the reasons she left Grey's...like maybe she wanted to separate herself from the character so she could do this for herself...

She can't have been very happy with what the writers had ultimately done with the bi-sexual character she'd pushed so hard for on the show either.

What do you mean, jw? That Callie's relationship with Penny wasn't properly developed?

This may have been a very small factor in her leaving, but she has also produced a movie, is very heavy into advocacy, plus her singing career and doing voiceovers. She knew something had to give and since she had devoted 10 years to Grey's already, I think she thought it was time to do other things. I don't think her being bi had anything to do with her story line as Callie, I'm sure she has known her own sexuality for a very long time and probably those around her as well.

I actually agree with everything you say. Although i think at the start jcap was alot more positive about calzona than sara. They were really close at the beginning then something changed. Jcap eventually lost the support for calzona again i dont know why. So it will be interesting to see how she is with the new love interest(aslong as its not leah)

I think SaRa and JCap kept a professional distance and it wasn't anything personal between them. I've always felt JCap may have been at SaRa's wedding because she was in NY the same weekend SaRa got married there. I know JCap has family in NY and just had her baby a month prior, but it is way too much of a coincidence they were there at the same time.

Maybe they kept their friendship on the DL due to some of those crazy stalkerish fans on social media. However, off screen, they have really different lives and it's not surprising they weren't any more than work friends. I know I never hung out with work friends who had children, especially small children.

As for the haircut, maybe she wanted to do something vastly different with her hair. I noticed her hubby's cut is similar to hers. One thing I will say, SaRa's coming out sure gives more credence to rumors about her and another Grey's alum being seen making out.

I never heard the story or rumour about her and another greys alum makingout. Who was it supossed to be. I could understand if they didnt hang out outside of work due to jcaps small children.although doesnther husband have kids

Sara and Kate Walsh, mmm always thought that Kate was part of the LGBT community, so wouldn't be surprised if those rumors were true.
Yes I agree that they have totally different lives, that they don't need to get along but still... In the very beginning there were some BTS pics from them together, but when the couple became fan's favorites it kind of stopped and they never openly supported Calzona as a couple like the other actors do on GA. The other actors from time to time post a pic together on twitter. They never did that.
But again, we will never really know why and also we can't expect actors to do that.
Anyways, Sara didn't say a proper goodbye to any of the cast so not only to JCap.
