That's why they suddenly introduced a transgender character, it was an attempt to garner more support as they got ready to sack JC but people have to connect to that character and it was seen for what is was, a BS shine job. Show runners are treating fan's as idiots. we know they sacked JC and SD to cover some of the cost of Ellen Pompeo's ridiculously hefty pay rise. I stopped watching a while ago because I got fed up with all the Arizona bashing going on but keep up to date on the going on in Grey's, it's just the Mer and family show now. Though it was called Grey's Anatiomy it has always worked because it had a group of different personalities working towards the same goal in their own individual way and how they bounce of each other. It's now the medical version of the Brady bunch (the piss take movie not the series)
I feel the same way and I don't even watch anymore, either. What really chapped my hide was Shonda saying that the LGBTQ community was so "underrepresented" already ... and then she turns around and fires one of the only openly lesbian main characters on mainstream television. What kind of sense does that make? "There aren't enough of you on television but bye anyway."
