Well - I have no idea where my kittens are. None. I haven't seen hide nor hair of them for the last four hours. Up until then - I always knew where they were - even if I couldn't get to them. They spent last night sleeping together behind the the washer. If I stood on a chair leaning against the washer - I could see them. So at least I knew they ( Read more... )

I got to name the most disobedient and unruly cats ever. How appropriate. :)

Sorry they're not treating you better. They should.

They're not being bad - just shy. They've both used the litterbox successfully with no accidents so far - that is a good thing. I'm sure they'll come around soon. That Joey is gonna be the tough one - he has only come out of hiding in front of me one time since I brought him home.

They'll turn up when they want to... cats can be so weird like that! My ex and I had 2 very, very shy cats. Whenever we'd have company they'd hide. When we moved to a new place, we had a housewarming party, and after the party was over, Naome came waltzing out of the kitchen, but Guen was nowhere to be found. We looked for her for 6 hours. It was a big apartment, but we didn't have that much *stuff*... finally, about 8 hrs after she went missing, we found her happily eating dinner. Turns out, she'd gotten into the cabinet under the sink (where I acutually had looked) and wiggled into a hole where the pipes went into the wall, and had been hiding IN THE WALL between the kitchen/bathroom all day!

We plugged up the hole right quick after that. ;) Hope the kids show up soon!

Well I finally found them. They were both sleeping *IN* my recliner. If I peel back the back covering and shine a flashlight up into the back of the chair - I can see them. Joey actually hissed at me though. So I'm gonna leave them alone for now.

Good luck with your new fishies. At least they can't run away and hide. :o)
