Friends only. AGAIN.

I tried going public. It didn't work. I guess it did, but exactly what I DIDN'T want to happen DID happen. So from now on, I'm friends only again. There are a lot of downsides to it, but I'd rather not have strangers berate me in my journal. Again.

Ano... hi ^^ I'm from the EGL community - I remember you from a while back but I think your journal was friends-only then too and I was too shy to comment ^^;; Anyway! I think you're interesting and you're under no obligation to friend me back but I promise not to: steal your work, go pro-anorexia, only respond to your posts when it involves something I want, or randomly pop in to tell you you're stupid/going to hell or anything like that ^^;

Okay, but I update 4 times a day on average, and they're usually all pretty long and rambling, and I tend to be a self-centred bint. But if you're fine with that... friended. ^_^v

oh, well I used to see you around the egl communities a lot, and I hear you're now in Japan? I just wanted to see what you were getting up to there..

I was on here awhile back, but I'm not anymore, haha. I think I might have deleted you when I had issues with stangers on m flist, but maybe you deleted me. WHO KNOWS.

The reason I ask to be added is mainly so I can read about your experiences in Japan. We don't really have much in common except that we both like EGL and you used to live in Toronto. :)

I don't think they are, though. She's still selling for less than retail price, and it's a lot easier than dealing with the lovely bureaucracy of Y!Japan and courier services, or even ordering straight from Meta. Considering that the items are essentially brand new, brand name and shipping from the US and will arrive in a decent amount of time, I'd say people are getting what they pay for. I can understand how you wouldn't want people to get ripped off, but I don't think they ARE getting ripped off in this one.

I guess words just don't travel well on the internet. -_-; You could have rephrased it in a way that didn't sound like you were putting her down as a seller - coming from a third-party POV, it sounds like you're attacking her character and not warning others. You catch more flies with honey, ne?
